I took two groups out yesterday to see what they could find in the pool.Lots of activity. Frog and salamander egg masses, tiny tadpoles and a couple of large bullfrog tadpoles, a bullfrog, predaceous diving beetle, water boatman, leech, caddisfly larva, chironomid midge larva, phantom midge, Gordian worm. The black flies found us and were annoying, but we had fun!
